Our Story

Launched speech services in Bethel, Alaska

DotCom Therapy is founded by Rachel Mack Robinson, a SLP, in 2015 on a mission to improve access to care in remote areas, first delivering virtual speech therapy supported by some in-person services to Lower Kuskokwim School District.

    Developed own SLP technology

In 2017 we launched our proprietary technology that supported Speech Language Pathologists in managing their day to day tasks virtually.

Expanded therapy for a broader spectrum of services

In 2018, we expanded our service offering beyond speech therapy to also include occupational therapy, mental health services, and school psychology in order to broaden our impact on the lives of children and adolescents across the country.

Scaled our network of licensed providers

Over the past decade, we've expanded our network of highly qualified, licensed providers, allowing us to serve nearly 1,000 school districts nationwide.

Launched next generation of provider focused technology

In 2024, we launched Provider Hub, an innovative provider experience designed to transform the delivery of care and enhance our support for providers. By streamlining workflows and reducing administrative burdens, Provider Hub not only optimizes provider efficiency but also elevates the quality of care we deliver.

Delivered our 1 millionth therapy session

We proudly celebrated delivering our 1 millionth therapy session in 2024 since our founding, a milestone reached shortly after our rebrand to Huddle Up. The new name reflects our mission to create a circle of support around each student, bringing together providers, families, and educators through technology to collaborate throughout the care journey.

Debuted Family Care Hub to engage families in care

In 2024, we introduced Family Care Hub to all of our clients—a platform offering personalized resources and IEP session details to help families support their child's growth, development, and mental health needs between sessions.

Expanded offering to include in-person care

To best meet the need of districts and support their entire caseload across mild and complex cases, we expanded our IEP offering to include both in-person and virtual care in 2024.
